Christian Louboutin Pump Shoes for women online

Christian Louboutin has expanded its shoe empire with a stunning 'winter garden style' concession inside Paris store Le Bon Marche.

The upmarket department store is now the proud owner of 860 square feet of red carpet, in homage to the footwear label’s famous red soles.

The unit can be found under a domed cage at the centre of the Left Bank shop, adding a feeling of 19th-century winter garden glamour to proceedings. There are no shelves for the shoes to be displayed on, rather glitzy mineral and gemstone cubes made of quartz and amazonites.

Louboutin’s are the go-to shoes for the world’s rich and famous, with Jennifer Lopez, Blake Lively and Rihanna just some of the stars often spotted on the red carpet rocking a pair.

Fans of the label will be able to pick up classics like Pigalle and SoKate, as well as new styles such as the Pigalle Follies Hawaii Kawaii stilettos. A small selection of handbags will also be on sale.

This is Louboutin’s eighth Parisian unit, with the brand also boasting around 100 shops around the globe.

The concession comes on the back of a busy few months for Christian, who also launched a photo app with his namesake label and has dipped his toes into watch design. Teaming up with Jaeger-LeCoultre, Christian designed seven watch dials titled Atelier Reverso.

While he may be famous for the colour red, the designer chose to keep the scarlet hue away from his watch creations.

"I do very, very few collaborations, because it also needs to feel like a challenge to me," he explained to The Hollywood Reporter.

"To simply add red isn’t a challenge. What I really wanted to do was marry our two DNAs and see how they might work together.
